Davina’s Pilates and Wellness is all about helping you to look after your health, improve your fitness and stay well. She offers personal tuition in Hertfordshire.

Everyone wants to feel healthy and each one of us has our own particular mix of health and wellbeing challenges in life. Whether you want to focus on general fitness and wellbeing, posture, flexibility, strength or nutrition, Davina can help you.

With over 20 years of experience teaching Pilates and a lifelong love of all things fitness, Davina is perfectly placed to guide you on your fitness journey. Whether you like to work alone or in a group, whatever your age, and no matter what stage of your journey you’re at, Davina is on a mission to help you build wellbeing into your daily life. She offers:

Davina works with people recovering from injuries, as well as those who want to improve their overall health. She is also qualified to teach Pilates during and after pregnancy.

Pilates is suitable for most people, and is proven to help tone the abdominal muscles, and strengthen those surrounding the spine. With practice it can improve your posture and flexibility in a balanced, slow and relaxed way.

It’s really important to Davina that her clients feel comfortable.

Davina wants to help you feel confident whether you are looking at Pilates to help relieve pain from a long-term condition, or working on healthier eating habits or just becoming fitter and healthier. She’s at her happiest when her work helps clients feel great about themselves and their fitness!

For one-to-one tuition, Davina can see you at her home studio in Cheshunt/Goffs Oak, or if you’re more comfortable in your own home, she can travel to you if you live within a ten mile radius. She will put together a programme to suit you, from gentle Pilates to challenging fitness sessions.

No such thing as a silly question

When you’re starting out it’s really common to see barriers to getting fit, but there’s no such thing as a silly question. You might want to talk to Davina about whether an activity is suitable for you, what to wear to a training session or where to park for a class. If she can help, she will.

About Davina

Davina is committed to leading a healthy lifestyle but definitely understands how to enjoy life too – everything in moderation! She’s been teaching since she qualified (more details on her qualifications below!) and draws on her own personal experiences and struggles with fitness to help her clients achieve success with their goals. In her spare time she likes to keep fit with running, swimming, cycling and tennis.

Davina’s qualifications include:

  • Exercise to Music (1997, YMCA)
  • Pilates (2000, Pilates Institute)
  • Ante/Post Natal Pilates (Australian Physiotherapist and Pilates Institute)
  • Active IQ Level 3 qualification in Nutrition and Physical Activity
